1997, 2000 miles. The bike failed to start Wednesday afternoon, knowing the A/F screw was stuck, I already had a new carb on order. Carb shows up and got it installed. Bike still fails to start without minutes of coaching.
Choke in or out, no changes, just cranking long enough to kill the battery. Put the charger on it and keep trying and it will finally start. During this cranking times, I have checked the plug to make sure its not flooded, the plug is always dry and has great fire. When I get it started, the bike runs great. If the bike is warmed up, it always starts immediately. This is getting frustrating. The bike used to backfire very bad, we have put on a Jardine pipe and a new carb. Backfire is now gone completely but it is just impossible to start.
Please help. I will take it to the shop if I don't get this resolved soon. This is the wife's bike and she is NOT happy!
Thanks
